There will be optional (but highly recommended) pre-season practices in February. Location is TBD based on weather. Regular season practices begin in March (as field and weather conditions allow) at North Strabane Park or at the Middle School. Games begin in mid-March to May.

We are lucky enough to have many local youth programs around us. Each year we play against teams from Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Peters, Mars, Sewickley to name a few.

A lacrosse stick, goggles, colored mouth guard, cleats and a water bottle are needed for every practice and every game.

Each of our teams are divided by age which normally falls into the following breakdown: Co-Ed 6U includes Pre-K and K,U8 includes 1^st and 2^nd grade players. U10 includes 3^rd and 4^th grade players. U12 includes 5^th and 6^th grade players. U14 includes 7^th and 8^th grade players.

The fee goes towards coaching and instruction, practices, league dues, coaches’ clearances, referees, EMT fees, website and Team Snap fees, field lining costs, equipment, recreation fields fees and more. You are also required to get a membership with USA Lacrosse. With a membership to USA Lacrosse, you will receive lacrosse injury insurance, USA Lacrosse Magazine, access to programs and services.

Parents will be expected to update their player’s availability on the Team Snap app on an on-going basis. Parents will be asked to volunteer for 2 hours during the course of the season or pay an opt-out fee of $200. Running 4 teams is a lot of work!
